50 miles today with 3 flat tyres. We went up a hill known as the wall. Unreal....steep....and very long but we all got there. No one has given up yet and all the hills have been cycled. Over 2000 feet of climbing yesterday and today. It gets a bit easier from here. Really nice meal at the Croft Hotel and looking forward to 60 miles tomorrow. The forecast from here including Franc and Belgium is looking good so the sunscreen has been put on standby. Broke the speed limit in Newcastle at 40 mph in a 30 zone and we all hoped for a speed camera but alas there was none. Bill, the back up driver is doing a great job for us and we would struggle without him...keep it up Bill!
